Screenwriter and dramaturge with a bachelor’s degree in screenwriting from Stockholm University of the Arts. Previous work includes screenwriter for Young Royals (Neflix), an international hit series that premiered in 2021 and winner of the Swedish Emmy Award for Best Youth Drama and Program of the Year in 2022.
Ebbas previous work includes as head writer for the drama comedy Dumped (2022, Discovery-plus), a series exploring anxiety and mental health issues based on an original idea by Therese Lindgren, one of Sweden's most prominent influencers and YouTubers. Prior to this, Ebba worked as an episode writer for the horror series Dystopia (2020, Viaplay).
Ebba is fascinated by the absurdity of everyday life. As a writer, she aims to capture the space where the mundane and eccentric aspects of being human in this peculiar world intersect. Drawing inspiration from writers/filmmakers like Charlie Kaufman, Raphael Bob-Waksberg, John Waters, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
