Dóra has 20+ years of experience in theater, TV, and film in Iceland. Performed as an actress in numerous productions. Founder of Iceland’s first improv theater company, Improv Iceland, and Improv Skólinn (The Improv School). Head-writer/director of Iceland’s most popular satirical show, Áramótaskaupið (Edda Award: Best Comedy, 2022; head-writer 2017, 2019). Co-writer of TV-series: Stella Blómkvist 2 (Edda-nominated, 2022). Creator/co-writer of TV-series: Húsó (The School of Housewives) Nordic Series Script Award nominee, 2025. Delivered improv-based creativity and communication talks and workshops to 100+ organizations. Founder of Djók Productions, currently developing the comedy series Leg (Uterus), based on the original musical by Hugleikur Dagsson.
