MIDPOINT HOMECOMING, a reunion and networking event, is designed for all MIDPOINT alumni who have participated in our programs since 2010.

The program of the two-day event (April 28-30, 2024) is designed to help MIDPOINT alumni reconnect with their peers and tutors, providing a unique opportunity to present projects, express themselves, and network effectively.
The program will feature showcases, curated networking sessions, and workshops. The program of the event will be updated progressively.

- Talents' Rendezvous (for writers, script consultants, and development executives)
- Works in Development Features (a showcase of projects in the late stage of development/alumni projects or new projects)
- Works in Development Series (a showcase of projects in the late stage of development/alumni projects or new projects)
- Works in Progress Forum (alumni feature or short films in the post-production stage)
- Story Space (new features or series ideas)
- Networking Participation (for alumni not intending to present, but actively network and observe)

How big is this event gonna be?

We have set a preliminary limit of 80 attendees, aiming to maintain an intimate and friendly atmosphere.
I want to attend, but I don't wish to apply for the showcase categories or present myself. Is it still necessary for me to apply?

Yes, there is a designated 'Networking Participation' call for you. It helps us monitor the number of attendees, and you have the opportunity to submit materials that will be included in the event catalog, allowing you to promote yourself more efficiently.
I want to apply with my team colleague, with whom I am working on a project we would like to present. They are also a MIDPOINT alum. Can we submit a joint application?

If you plan to submit an application alongside a colleague (who must also be a MIDPOINT alum) for the same project, kindly ensure that each of you submits an individual application.

No, the event is designed exclusively for MIDPOINT alumni. If you wish to present this particular project, you will be the sole representative of the creative team if it is not composed of MIDPOINT alumni.
