VOJTĚCH NOVOTNÝ (1996) spent a year at the Film Studies, Charles University, and continued to FAMU, Department of Directing, where he recently graduated. His film Parole (2020) won the Ecumenical Jury Award for the best student film at Molodist Kyiv IFF. His bachelor film Paradise on Earth to See (2022) was selected for several international festivals, including Tallinn Black Nights, Premiers Plans Festival d'Angers, and Trieste FF. He is currently developing two feature-length projects To Move Mountains and God Break Down the Door (Karlovy Vary IFF 2023: Works in Development – Rotterdam Lab Award).
