Richard Feliz began his filmmaking journey in 2015 at Norges Kreativ Høyskole in Bergen. His stories focus on people on the margins, exploring connection and dignity amid vulnerability and loss. Eva (2018), a short documentary about a drag queen in Mexico City, which was runner-up at the TIFF x Instagram Shorts festival. His latest short, Nightwish (2025), a fantasy thriller about a sex worker’s search for connection in an unforgiving world, premiered at Fantasy Film Fest in 2025.
Richard took the Pitch Please course at Hamburg Kurzfilm 2025 and pitched his feature documentary renegade at Encourage before 300+ guests during Berlinale 2025.
Current projects: Renegade (2024-) (Feature documentary funded by Norwegian film institute co-produced by Zentropa)
