Angela Dimeska
Angela Dimeska is a Macedonian screenwriter and director whose work spans over fiction, documentary, and commercials. With a background in psychology and anthropology, she explores women, identity, and the emotional fractures within social structures. Her short films Wigs (2021) and Boxes (2023) were screened internationally at festivals including FEST, New Directors/New Films, In the Palace, and Alexandria ISFF. She is currently in preproduction of her third short film, The Day the Music Died, produced by Kontrast Film and supported by the North Macedonian Film Agency. Angela is developing her debut feature They Bloom at Dawn, a MIDPOINT Feature Launch title supported by CE MEDIA. She also co-organises Komshilook, an art festival in Skopje, and was a part of the HER Frame Mentorship Programme at the Manaki Brothers ICFF and Novi Sad FF.
