WORKSHOP FEE
The fee will be announced soon
The fee includes accommodation, board and tuition during the residential workshop. Travel costs are NOT included.

Application requirements
To apply to the program, please create an account on the MIDPOINT Visitor Page and follow the instructions within the submission form. A detailed description of the required materials is to be found in the submission form. All applicants will be informed about the selection results in late July / early August 2026.
The application consist of:
- basic information on the applicant (and their company)
- short biography of the applicant, and photo
- short questionnaire about the applicant's experience with AI
- motivation letter explaining the applicant's professional background, the motivation and reasons for applying for the Focus AI workshop and how the participant is planning to use the acquired skills after the training (1-2 pages long)

You may ask...

I'm not fluent in English, can I still apply?
Sadly, no. As the entire training runs in English, and during the working days you'll be asked to write directly in English, we require an intermediate level of these language skills. This simply means: your grammar doesn't have to be perfect, but you need to talk/write fluently and have the vocabulary to do so.

How many participants does the Focus AI program expect to select?
Max 20

What level of experience with AI should I have to apply?
Focus AI is aimed at beginners with basic familiarity with AI tools. They may have used tools like ChatGPT for emails or text summarization but have not received formal training or explored AI applications in depth.

Can I get a scholarship?
No, unfortunately not.

I am a director, can I apply?
Yes, as long as you are also involved in writing. The workshop is primarily focused on the workflows of writers and creative producers.

Are the participants selected based on their projects?
No, Focus AI is a participant-based program. However, you'll have the opportunity to work with your current projects during the workshop for a more hands-on experience.
