Ukraine, the fall of 2009. An experienced but disillusioned TV reporter, Viktor Tsvilikhovsky, joined by a young idealistic TV cameraman, Semen Handziuk, travels to the eastern part of the country to make a series of reports for a nationwide broadcasting covering the pre-election presidential campaign. Working under heavy influence of the editorial politics his TV-reports favour one candidate - pro-Russian Viktor Yanukovych. At first the seasoned journalist goes with the flow. He carries out his work quickly the way the editorial office wants it. As we see the reporters become an instrument of a dirty info campaign, Tsvilikhovsky gets stirred by the younger colleague’s persistent opposition. Reaching the highest point of discomfort and frustration being used professionally by the media owner, Tsvilikhovsky finds the dignity in himself to stand against the circumstances and eventually revives professionally and spiritually.
