As a producer, Taras Lesiuk has a sharp focus on spotlighting universal stories through a Canadian lens. In 2021, he launched Gambade Films with Annick Sheedy McLellan. His previous feature film screenplay “The Apartment in Lviv” was chosen as 1 of 25 international projects to be at the 2021 Canada-Ukraine CoProduction Conference. His short film “Flyer Boys” (2022),acquired by CBC, received Audience Choice and Best Short Film awards. In 2024 he co-produced the feature length documentary film Doors of War, currently on an advocacy tour across Canada and LATAM in partnership with Global Affairs Canada.
