Olha Matat is a Ukrainian producer and founder of EVOS FILM, a Kyiv-based production company working across feature films, television and international co-productions. Alongside production, she is also actively involved in the distribution of Ukrainian films in Germany and is the curator of the Ukrainian Film Days in NRW, one of the key platforms for Ukrainian cinema and cultural dialogue in Germany.
Her productions focus on auteur-driven stories with strong international potential. EVOS FILM’s first feature How Is Katia? by Christina Tynkevych, premiered at the Locarno Film Festival 2022, where it received the Special Jury Prize Cine+ and the Best Actress Award, followed by more than 40 international festival selections and sales to HBO Europe.
Current projects in development include All Clear by Christina Tynkevych, Teura, an international co-production between Ukraine, France, Germany and Morocco, and The Shot At Success by Sergiy Kulybyshev, a co-production between Ukraine and Germany. She is an alumna of EAVE Producers Workshop 2024 and Rotterdam Lab 2025.
