Kristyna Michalek Kvetova
Kristýna Michálek Květová graduated from the Department of Production at FAMU – the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague – and founded Cinémotif Films in 2016. She is an alumna of EURODOC and was selected for Producers on the Move in Cannes 2024. She has presented her projects at major industry platforms such as Les Arcs Works in Progress, Thessaloniki Crossroads, or East Doc Platform.
She has been involved in cinematic productions ranging from fiction to documentary and hybrids that were presented at major A-list international festivals like Locarno and HotDocs (The Visitors), Venice (Photophobia), Visions du Réel (The Sound is Innocent) or Warsaw (Year of the Widow). Another acclaimed title, Arved, won the Best Film Award at the Czech Film Critics‘ Awards and was nominated in 12 categories for Czech Lion Awards. Her main focus is on international and minority co-productions.
Since 2025, she has been a member of the European Film Academy.
