Dramaturg and screenwriter Petr Koubek studied screenwriting at FAMU. He has worked for Czech Television as well as in commercial productions, and has contributed to a number of Czech TV series (Lynč, The Five from the Garage, First Republic, Highlands Badge, The Lady and the King). He is the author of the series The Different Ones, currently in development as a Czech–Slovak–Polish co-production.
Since 2018, he has been leading a writers’ room course at FAMU, where he develops his expertise in story structure and narrative development.
