Pablo Pagan Fernandez
Pablo Pagán is a film director, writer, and producer from Valencia, Spain. At 16, he directed his first short, PAWNS, exploring the Spanish Civil War through Gen Z eyes. Crowdfunded and award-winning, it was the first Spanish short to win "Best International Short Film" at AAHSFF (New York). He later directed MUNNA and THE GIRL WITH THE BLURRED FACE, screened at festivals worldwide and honored with audience and jury awards. A graduate of ESCAC, his thesis film VOYAGER blends neo-noir, fantasy, and drama, earning top prizes at Screamfest, Filmquest, and more, and qualifying for the Goya Awards. It continues to screen at Oscar- and Goya-qualifying festivals, including SITGES and Indy Shorts. Pablo has programmed for the Manises International Fantastic Film Festival and served on the Young Jury at Giffoni. He is currently developing his debut feature, THE WHISTLER.
