Matěj Randár is a Czech screenwriter, dramaturg, and playwright, trained in screenwriting and dramaturgy at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. He is the coauthor and screenwriter of the series Sex O’Clock (VOYO/Nova), a twenty-episode drama exploring family breakdown. Additionally, Randár works as the dramaturg for the Czech version of Dancing with the Stars (Czech Television). He is also an award winning author of successful theatrical plays. His preferred genre is comedy, especially those driven by strong, memorable characters.
