Jan completed his Screenwriting and Dramaturgy master course at FAMU in Prague in 2024. During his academic years, he became a writer or co-writer of fourteen short films which were successfully produced and finished. After graduating, he went on to write four episodes of a crime television series "Young Blood" for TV Prima under the showrunner Alice Nellis's supervision. He also wrote two audioseries, buddy-cop action comedy "Commando" and crime-thriller "Genius Loci", which won 2nd place in the "Dramatization" category at the 2023 Audiobook of the Year Awards. He also works as a dubbing dialogue editor and is currently developing his third audioseries project.
