Andra Hera
Andra Hera studied at ESRA in Paris and returned to Romania after her graduation, working as an AD, casting director and acting trainer. In 2017, her short film Borders premiered at the Gent FF and continued to travel to numerous festivals worldwide, such as Trieste FF, Alcalá de Henares IFF or Durban IFF. The film was also acquired by Canal+ and was nominated for the Romanian national film awards - Gopo. Her most recent film, The Things We Hide in Silence (2021) is a documentary foray into an unconventional voice therapy. The film premiered at Transilvania IFF and was nominated for the Gopo awards in 2022. She is currently in post-production with her short film Fruits, financed by ARTE, the French CNC and the Romanian film fund.
