BANIJAY BOOTCAMP 2026 - 4th edition

The Banijay Bootcamp has been an absolutely exceptional and inspiring experience. From the very beginning, it felt like a true immersion into a professional fiction environment, much more than a training program, it was a living creative process. Working within a structure that genuinely resembled a writers’ room encouraged collaboration, open discussion, and a deep exchange of ideas. The balance between group work and individual writing time was also fundamental to the process. Having space to develop ideas individually and then bring them back to the group made the collaboration more meaningful and effective. With some perspective now, it is clear how thoughtfully every part of the bootcamp was designed, and how each element served a precise creative purpose. I leave the Banijay Bootcamp not only with a stronger project, but with renewed motivation, confidence, and a deep appreciation for collaborative creation in the right environment, one that truly supports and enhances the creative process.

Four days may seem like a short time to improve a project, but the Banijay Bootcamp has shown that dedicated, focused work can really make a difference. The intensive brainstorming sessions allow all participants to get to the heart of their project, returning home with the feeling that they have something new and improved. I'd like to highlight the enthusiasm and incredible expertise that Steve and Nina brought to all the projects, managing to provide precise and thoughtful feedback on every kind of story, no matter how different they were from one another. Also, meeting screenwriters and producers from other countries also makes the experience rewarding on a human and creative level.

This extraordinarily intense and inspiring workshop breathed a new life into our project, allowing us to connect so many dots in the story and take it to a new level. I loved the supportive and nurturing atmosphere during the group works - it was such a joy to meet fellow creators from all across Europe!

I came to the bootcamp as a development executive with a writer and a feature, left with a better script and a few new creative allies. It was an international group, each with their own project, and under Steve’s calm lead and Nina’s sharp development eye, everything got properly stress-tested - structure, characters, story. Notes were clear, honest, and actually useful. What made the camp stand out was the collaborative spirit, everyone worked on everyone else’s project. No egos, just smart people making good ideas better. You could see all the projects level up in real time. Great vibe, generous crowd, and a genuinely productive few days. Would absolutely do it again.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to participate. It was an intense experience that significantly improved the material and strengthened my producer and me as a team. We made tremendous progress, and the project is now on a completely different level. Thank you.
