I was born in 1982 in Leipzig and grew up in Waren (Müritz). Since schooldays I worked as a projectionist in little independent cinemas where I discovered my passion for films. Later I started to gain experiences as a film reviewer and since 2004 I work every year for the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film. In 2008 I finished my apprenticeship at the Kinowelt Film Distribution Company. In June 2008 I moved to Berlin to work for the film and tv production company MedienKontor GmbH. There I was responsible for several documentaries as a production manager. Since September 2009 I study film producing at the Academy for Film and Television in Berlin (dffb) and work as a freelance production coordinator and set-manager.
