Andrei-Nicolae Teodorescu was born in Ploiesti, Romania on 18th October 1987. He graduated acting school at UNATC under the guidance of his professors Ion Cojar and Adrian Titieni. He is currently a student in the directing department at the Film School of UNATC under the guidance of professor Laurentiu Damian. Alongside Germain Kanda he won the Directing award and the Grand Prize of the 48th hour Film Festival held in Brasov in 2012 for the movie THE WEATHER. With his movie THE BANG - BANG AND THE CREAM CAKE he won the award for the best short film at Chitila Film-Fest in 2012. In the same year, at CineMAiubit film festival, he won the ‘Nina Behar’ prize for directing and the critics’ award offered by The Romanian Filmmakers Association. He also won a prize for the best short film at Constanta National Film Festival. CITY TOUR, his first documentary, won the The Romanian Filmmakers Association prize on the 17th edition of CineMAiubit film festival in 2013. At the same festival THE BLACK SQUAD won the Grand Prize.
