Lyuba, a lonely TikToker, who would normally hide at the back of her school choir, discovers a magical dress that transports her to 1975 Soviet Lviv — straight into a hippie community, where her grandparents have not yet fallen in love.
Living between eras, Lyuba plays an unlikely matchmaker in the past and evolves into a rebel, riding a bike naked past the communist office with her boyfriend, all while clashing with her mom in the 2025.
But her joy shatters when she discovers her grandpa, blackmailed by the KGB, betrayed their secret concert. As her grandparents’ romance collapses, Lyuba begins to fade from existence. Desperate, she reveals her identity and bids a heartbreaking farewell to the hippie she loves.
Back in 2025, at her prom, Lyuba bravely debuts on stage, singing the song of her grandparents', while her mom cheers her on.
