Meridian

In Meridian, a secluded village existing in a liminal state between the real and the imaginary, Marina is working at the local lignite mine in order to support her pregnant sister. One night, a supernatural event disrupts the small community, and drives a rift between the two sisters. Marina, plagued by strange nightmares and finding it hard to abandon her way of life, leans towards leaving Meridian, while Elina, who finds hope in prayer, gets fixated on religion. The relationship between the sisters will be even more affected by a group of foreigners, who arrive to Meridian in hopes of witnessing a miracle.
