Silje Hopland Eik is a Norwegian feature film producer. She graduated from the Norwegian Film School in 2000 and established Cinenord in 2004. During the past 11 years, Cinenord has grown to become one of Norway’s largest production companies, with more than 25 feature film producer’s credits. The company has specialized in children and family entertainment, but also has a slate of successful Scandinavian crime thrillers in their portfolio. This year alone, Cinenord has had three film releases, all of which have performed very well at the box-office. Cinenord’s movies have received numerous prizes at international festivals and now sell abroad.
