Max Malka works as Creative Director and Executive Producer for Banijay Finland overseeing all scripted activities of the company. Working in the industry since 2005, her production credits include Finland’s highest-grossing film of 2016 Tatu & Patu, three seasons of the hit series DragonSlayer666, and a romantic feature Aurora, which premiered at SXSW. Aurora had a record breaking 13 Jussi-award (Finnish Oscar) nominations, of which it won 7, including Best Film. The same year, Malka was voted “Producer of the Year”. Malka created and produced the first ever Finnish Netflix series Dance Brothers (2023), which she also created and co-wrote. Her latest production, a dramedy series Supporting Actor, premiers in February 2025. Malka aims to produce ambitious projects for large audiences with core values like sustainability & diversity. She has a Master of Arts degree in film.
