MIDPOINT Intensive @KVIFF with Sundance Institute experts offers unique individual script consulting for feature film projects in development.

The workshop is aimed at more experienced teams of writers and producers from the region of Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, the Baltic countries, Turkey and countries of the former Soviet Union (namely: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Moldavia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan). 

The selected projects are feature films in development with a draft of the script available. The program presents case studies of Sundance Institute alumni projects, group assignments, with the core part being the in-depth individual consultations with each of the two Sundance Institute tutors - Naomi Foner and Erik Jendresen. Both producers and writers are invited to join the consultations.

The setting within the Karlovy Vary IFF offers a unique opportunity to network within the Eastern European region, as well as to discover the full industry and festival program. 2017 marks the second edition of MIDPOINT Intensive @KVIFF.

The fee includes accommodation, board, festival accreditation and tuition at the workshop. Travel costs are NOT included.
