On the night of his daughter’s birthday, Stoyan is confronted by Kiril, the childhood friend who went to prison for the fatal accident Stoyan caused. Their reunion reopens the lie on which Stoyan’s marriage, fatherhood, and adult life have been built. As Stoyan’s wife Silvia confronts the inherited codes that shaped her idea of strength, the family begins to fracture. By morning, they are left to face that what held this family together was also what undid it.
