CONFIRMATION

Filip (14), a chubby mama’s boy, loves Jesus and checking out barely dressed models in magazines. Daily, he fronts his mom’s Thermomix socials - fueling jokes at school. That’s why he’d like someone other than mom to be his confirmation sponsor. He chooses Olek (17), a cool altar boy, who agrees if Filip helps his sister Karolina (16), who has Down syndrome, with speech therapy. Much to Filip’s shock, the exercises become an excuse to fulfill Karolina's secret dream: working on a sex hotline - believing she’s only desirable unseen. Her daring personality draws Filip in. They become friends, growing more and more intimate, until Filip is forced to confront not only his mother, but also unexpected rejection from Karolina. Heartbroken, he turns against the siblings. On confirmation day, Filip walks out of the church, refusing the sacrament.
