Theresa Bacza, born in Gera (GDR) in 1988, is a film and television producer at Akzente Film / ndF since 2020 and East Gate Filmproduction since 2025. A graduate of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg with a focus on Creative Producing, she previously studied Music, Media, and Scandinavian Studies at Humboldt University Berlin and UiA Norway. Her credits include The Quartet (ZDF), The Murder Sisters (ZDF), and development projects such as Children of Hoy, Schloss Saale, and The Apartment. Her diploma web series hierdrueben won multiple international awards. Theresa has held industry scholarships and jury positions, participated in major festivals, and completed professional training in AI and green storytelling. She is fluent in English and Norwegian and currently expanding into animal-assisted training with her Border Collie Artax.
