Lorenzo Rossi Espagnet
Lorenzo Rossi Espagnet, born in Rome in 1982, is a screenwriter and story editor. He graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 2010 and began his career in 2005 collaborating with Indigo Film as part of Paolo Sorrentino’s crews (The Family Friend, Il Divo, The Great Beauty). In 2012, he wrote and directed the documentary Generale, broadcasted on Rai Storia. Since 2015, he has worked as a screenwriter for Taodue Film, writing series such as Rosy Abate, Solo, and Squadra Mobile. In 2018, he co-wrote Hotel Gagarin, nominated for the Nastri d’Argento and David di Donatello awards. Since 2019, he has been a story editor for Aurora TV (The ladies’ paradise). In 2022, he directed the documentary Er gol de Turone era bono, awarded at the 2023 Nastri d’Argento and presented at the Rome Film Festival. He currently develops feature films, series, and TV formats with Aurora TV, part of the Banijay Group.
