Giannis Haritidis (Athens, 1982) is a Greek film director and screenwriter working across fiction and documentary. He holds a degree in Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences (NTUA) and an MA in Digital Arts and Filmmaking (Athens School of Fine Arts). Since 2007, he has directed award-winning shorts, features, TV series, and documentaries screened in Greece and internationally. His recent work includes the docufiction feature Sea Cemetery (2025), the drama series The Shipwreck (Mega Channel, 2024), and the acclaimed mini-series The Bridge (ANT1+). He was awarded an ARTWORKS Fellowship by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. He is passionate about stories that merge social reality and fiction and aims to expand his collaborative storytelling through international coproductions.
