Enrico Pacciani

Profession:
Country: Italy

Born in Florence, I am a producer and writer with a background in physical production, working between writing, development and international production since the early 2000s. Studying film in Florence, at NYU and at Paris III – Sorbonne Nouvelle fostered my interest in international cinema and television.
I debuted as a documentary producer with Irrawaddy Mon Amour (2015, directed by Grignani / Testagrossa / Zambelli), selected for IDFA, Torino Film Festival and MoMA Doc Fortnight.
In 2016 I produced two prime-time arts and culture documentaries for Sky Arte: Indro (directed by Samuele Rossi) and Firenze ’66, which I also wrote and directed. I later produced and co-wrote the documentary comedy Quel maledetto film su Virzì (2023), directed by Stefano Petti and selected for Festa del Cinema di Roma. Training at Eurodoc and IDFAcademy, and multiple participations in Script Circle (Berlin), deepened my view of storytelling as a collaborative creative process.
After Toscana Film Commission’s Showrunner Lab (2023) and Midpoint’s Cold Open (2026), I now focus on developing original series, with a particular interest in engaging character-centered stories that explore life’s complexities through visually driven cinematic storytelling.
