Holds a master’s degree in film and TV production from Stockholm University of the Arts and a Certificate in Independent Production from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). An alumni of Sundance Institute’s Visual Storytelling program.
She is employed at Filmlance International and has previous production and development experience from Sweden’s Public Broadcaster Sveriges Television and HBO Max Nordic. She is currently producer on the upcoming seasons of the hit series The Sandhamn Murders for TV4 (Sweden) and ZDF (Germany).
Carla’s diverse background and international experience have fueled her curiosity for different perspectives, driving her to challenge biases and better understand others’ realities. She believes that embracing a wide range of viewpoints throughout the creative process not only enriches storytelling but also strengthens the global film landscape.
