Mr.Gheorghiu (68) and Mike (12) are partners in crime. Mr. Gheorghiu, a retired police officer, has the habit of spying on his neighbors. Right now he is following the moves of the young gay man who just moved across the street. Mike is his helper. He does a few chores for the old man, like getting the photo camera films at a developing laboratory and bringing them back when they are done. However, Mr.Gheorghiu doesn’t give him full access to the information that he has. This is why, Mike has to come up with a strategy to get inside Gheorghiu’s apartment and be part of the action. Once that is done and Gheorghiu is faced with the impossibility of getting the child out of his apartment, the two of them get to work. At one point, they notice that the gay young man receives a dubious package containing a green chopped substance, which Mr.Gheorghiu immediately categorizes as marijuana. He calls the local authorities and this is the moment when we find out that this is not his first attempt of the kind. Everybody at the police station seems to know him and they are not impressed by what he has to say. In order to prove that what he’s saying is true, they have to find a piece of evidence. This is why he sends Mike to try and steal the dubious package from the neighbor’s apartment. Mike steals it and comes back as quickly as he can. Soon after that, a police officer comes to check the evidence. After carefully analyzing it, he ironically concludes that the package contains a cooking spice. Baffled and confused, the two remain in silence, trying to make sense of what just happened. In the end, Mr.Gheorghiu goes near the window, in search of another suspect.
